Salvation Army Captain Jeremiah Romack provided the program on the services and mission of the Salvation Army. The local Salvation Army organization has been in Kerrville for over seventy five years, and started as a medical and dental clinic. They’ve since expanded their services to include the shelter, meals and the Thrift Store, and of course the KROC Center.
The Kerrville KROC Center is one of 26 centers, and is the only one in Texas. This facility provides after school and summer day care for kids, church services, health and fitness classes, meeting and lunch spaces for community groups, pool facilities, and more.

There are four free yearly events at the center, including Easter on the Lawn, Back to School Bash, Harvest Festival and Christmas at the KROC.

The Salvation Army brass band also performed several Christmas songs for our pleasure.
